SUMMARY:

You’re a self-motivated problem solver—if you don’t know the answer, you’ll find the answer. You’re also a team player. You know if you get all the details of your job right, it helps everyone succeed. That’s the kind of person we’re looking for in our Sales Assistant – Parts Administrator role. This position will work closely with customers, primarily helping them with parts orders and service inquiries, but will also assist in other areas within the sales team where needed. We’re looking for someone who excels in delivering a great customer experience, but also won’t shy away from difficult conversations, such as collecting deposits for orders, when needed. No matter the situation, we’re looking for someone who communicates with tact and care and takes pride in the way they represent the company and themselves.

This is a highly collaborative team that takes pride in its ability to hold high standards for customer experience and revenue generation. This role specifically is a frontline position that involves a high level of organization and self-motivation, we consistently strive to improve customer experience.

As a Sales Assistant, you’ll experience every aspect of the Bavis Fabacraft business and culture. You’ll work closely with members of the sales team, but will also collaborate with accounting, production, marketing, and other members of the organization. You’ll gain valuable knowledge and experience in an organization where there’s room to grow!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and respond to parts and service inquiries inbox
  • Assist customers in identifying, pricing and ordering parts
  • Ensure orders and activities are logged in SAP in accurate and timely manner
  • Answer, manage and route phone inquiries and orders
  • Assist in customer deposit collections
  • Manage parts returns from customers
  • Provide shipping updates to customers as needed
  • Collaborate across departments to resolve customer issues quickly and completely
  • Assist members of the Sales team where/when needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – you’re the voice of the company to our customers!
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Attention to detail – accuracy and getting things right the first time around are critical in this role
  • Eagerness to learn and willingness to ask questions in order to get the job done right
  • Self-motivated problem-solver – you don’t hand off customers to someone else just because you don’t know how to help them right away
  • Focused and organized – ability to manage and execute on multiple ongoing projects/responsibilities
  • Team-first mentality
  • Experience/familiarity working in a CRM system, preferably SAP
  • Familiarity with Microsoft solutions – Outlook, Word, Excel etc…
  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or higher
  • Experience: 1-3 years in corporate administrative, assistant or coordinator capacity

SUMMARY:

If so, we’d like to talk to you for our Sales Engineer role! Bavis Fabacraft is looking for a true teammate who capably understands all aspects of our technical product lines and creates value in the sales and services portion of our business by helping our team to deliver extra-ordinary, complete and effective solutions for our customers, new and existing. This means consulting on/explaining product features to customers during live demonstrations, negotiating contract terms as part of the sales team, and providing insights and support to existing customers engaged with our services department. Your success will be measured by new customer acquisition/close rates, customer satisfaction and contribution to overall sales team and business success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.
  • Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements.
  • Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests internally and externally.
  • Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional personnel.
  • Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment and engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
  • Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
  • Submits orders by conferring with technical support staff and costing engineering changes.
  • Develops customer’s staff by providing technical information and training.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and anticipating future legislation.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.
  • Collaborates with marketing team to develop accurate and effective messaging around product features, functions and capabilities.
  • Maintains and updates existing production documentation, including drawings, spec sheets, install manuals, etc, to ensure accuracy for internal and external use.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
